Consulting and outsourcing firm Accenture PLC said Friday it has signed a contract with Fiat Item, a subsidiary of Italian automaker Fiat Group SpA, to help the unit consolidate its information and communications technology.
Fiat Item will outsource to Accenture activities that help support its human resources, finance and administrative functions. Terms of the contract were not specified.
U.S.-traded shares of Accenture, which is incorporated in Ireland, fell 21 cents to $38.59 in morning trading.
